Back in Orangeville

So I went down to the library today and I was reading Dangerous Wonders by Michael Yaconelli. I just started it, and I was reading the first chapter just about dreaming, and people that block dreams, and how we are lulled into dullness, and I was like, MAN, I don't want to get lulled into dullness. I CANNOT let that happen. And so I wanted to go talk to somebody about Jesus. Then I started reading the part about how we still need to dream, and I felt like God wanted me to go encourage somebody about dreaming. So I walked out of the library, and walked down the street, and was like, "God, point out somebody you want me to talk to." So I walked, and looked up, and I saw a guy standing in front of the opera house. My eye kept coming back to him. So I was like, okay God, let's do this. So I walk up to him, and HE initiates the conversation. He says something like, "let's hope this keeps up eh?" (referring to the weather) and BOOM, conversation started. We chat for like a minute, and then I'm like, "this might seem weird but I just want to let you know that God loves you AND I just felt like - and this might be really weird - that God wants you to keep dreaming. You know those like out there ideas you can get? Well God wants you to pursue that." And what is his response? He was an experimental physicist. He is a DREAMER. And he was telling me for like 20-30 minutes about his DREAMS. He is currently working on this power generator that could potentially revolutionize the world of physics. He has been working on it for 27 years. He might be very close to getting investors in Iran for at least $5 million, and by what he told me, it sounded pretty exciting. Now, maybe this is all crazy, but... what are the chances? God told me to tell somebody to dream. And who did I find? Potentially one of the biggest dreamers, if not THE biggest dreamer in Orangeville? Oh, and... a sidenote, he then offered that when he got his investors, I could work with him and do anything I wanted. I don't think he realized I was 18 and fresh out of high school... probably thought I was like 26 with a Doctorate or something... who knows... but MAN, God is pretty cool.
